still
there is rain, but also daffodils
brett, but also, apparently, a brother
time, but never enough of it
so much to do that never gets done
this picture that makes me dizzy
this life that makes me crazy
full of flowers and cats and
never enough
i can’t be satisfied
i am satisfied
i can’t be mollified
i can’t sit still
i can’t remember
yet still, there is rain
and daffodils

I love daffodils! I’m not too into rain but I guess it’s needed for the daffs. 🙂

What do you mean “brett but also a brother”?
*eyebrow raised*
I believe the truly interesting people are living lives of contradictions and complements.
*grin*
I just love the Daffodils – “boom-de-odd da.”
(Apparently according to Google, this is a girl scout song.)
I love the mountains,
I love the rolling hills,
I love the flowers,
I love the daffodils.
I love the fireside
When all the lights are low.
Boom dee a da, boom dee a da
Boom dee a da, boom dee a da

I mean that yes, another kitten showed up last night crazy starved, howling and pathetic and we think they might be brothers…and now what do we do? Five was crazy but six is impossible. Right now they are both by the back door, each in their own box, well-fed and happy…I named the brother George McFly (kind of looks like him). And I know that song!
