snowballs in june

and a morning filled with birdsong,
windows open to a drizzly rainy day
wrapping me in a blanket of cool humidity

my garden is happy,
half clean and half beautiful mess
and this is progress

and just outside my window
i’ve planted
kiss me over the garden gate
right next to
love lies bleeding

which makes me smile
because i know which one
grows taller

ha. a beautiful mess is progress….we had nasty storms last night…took out trees…even knocked a large construction crane over…ha on the choices there in the end…and your own knowledge…

A lovely breeze of spirited poetics, much more subtle with its unexpected contrasts that most of ours will be today; as we launch nonsense bombs into the soup of madness where the unusual becomes pedestrian; so lilting, relaxing, sweet–thanks.

there’s a monarch chrysalis ready to burst in my garden, its wings beginning to show through.

your pen makes me smile, too ~
