brittle
warmth of sun
melting midnight crystal
the flag of patience
waves a cold, cold breeze
one touch too soon
and all will crumble

one touch too soon
and all will crumble

Terrific image & sentiment, catapulting my senses to include many projects & relationships that can be in the same state, that one must approach with the same alacrity. Nice job, hope to see it on OLN123 today.

“One touch too soon and all will crumble” – Makes me think of many situations actually in which we rush the necessary process of life. Always a pleasure to read here 🙂

Filled with contrasting images and thoughts…a picture of nature, but one that transposes to a narrative of an emotional state as well. Very nicely done.

In the cold air it might all crumble around us..sad…

lovely poem..the words woven so exquisitely..you can feel the careful patience as if to keep the words from crumbling..I agree with Steve as well, how the nature poem transposes adequately to signify the delicate nature of an emotional conditional.
