pure, unadulterated joy
{reverb11 – day 8}
::
Take us back to a moment this year when you experienced
pure, unadulterated joy.
::
after months
of knee pain and
then surgery
and then recovery,
the first time
i headed
down this path,
running.

It is the missing that makes us remember how much everyday joy is in our life. I remember this day and the joy you shared.

This photo is beautiful. And I’m so glad you recovered and are running!
PS, I filled out a bucketlist on my b-day. Running a 5K with Gordon in 2012 is on it.
You should consider joining us at some point! 🙂

oh I love shots like that .. wondering where it leads, making up stories about it .. running is not my thing but I can understand how you must have felt .. and feel every day since the knee was mended!
