defining moment.
{reverb10 – day 29}
::
Describe a defining moment or series of events that
has affected your life this year.
::
the moments that
defined my year
were not the moments
i remember best.
::
the defining
moments
were all the single,
fleeting
drops of time
that i’ve
forgotten.

Beautiful. I haven’t written my response yet, and I agree w/ Beth.
I see you and I share an interest in Patti Digh. She is coming to my church to keynote in February, and I can’t wait.

You are under fresh poets to explore,
I invite you to become a participant at Thursday Poets Rally Week 36…link in your entry when you are ready.
That’s a better way to make poetic friends, and have your talent directly exposed to fellow poets.
Poetry awards are to be given upon completion.
Hope to see you in, Happy Thursday, best wishes for the year of 2011.

I just want to move in with you and let you take care of me. But your cats would kill me, so it’s better this way.

Wow! Of course, you’re totally correct. Actions normally speak louder than words, except in your case! You make your words cut right through the din. And I really love the way you’ve coupled the image with the poem. I think you look out your window and see things the rest of us don’t.
